CPSC Recalls Scope Due to Issue With Cap

Failure to meet child-resistant closure requirement.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with P&G, announced a voluntary recall of Scope Original Mint Mouthwash, 1 Liter Size. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The mouthwash contains ethyl alcohol and certain bottles have malfunctioning child-resistant caps and lack the statement, “This Package for Households Without Young children,” as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act.
